Use SignalKey to analyse audio you have the right to analyse. Don't abuse the service. We provide tools "as-is" without warranty. The site may show ads. Detailed legal terms below.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using SignalKey ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service is operated by SignalKey ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms apply to anyone accessing the Service, with or without an account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights
- Upload content you do not have legal rights to analyse
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the Service
- Bypass our rate limits, ad gates or queue mechanisms
- Resell or redistribute analysis results commercially without permission
- Use automated systems to scrape the site beyond reasonable use
We may suspend access for users who violate these terms, abuse the service, or generate invalid traffic.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to audio files you upload. We don't claim any ownership over your music. By uploading, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive licence to process the audio for the sole purpose of delivering analysis results back to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload and analyse the audio file (e.g. you wrote it, own it, licensed it, or it's legally yours to analyse).
4. SignalKey intellectual property
The SignalKey site, brand, name, logo, code, AI engine and analysis methodology are the property of SignalKey. You may use the analysis results we return (BPM, key, stems, MIDI files) for any lawful purpose, including commercial productions.
You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative tools from the SignalKey codebase, branding or design without written permission.
5. Copyright complaints
We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe content accessed via SignalKey infringes your copyright, see our DMCA Policy for take-down procedures.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
AI-driven analysis (BPM, key, chord, stem separation) is statistical and may not be 100% accurate. Treat results as guidance, not absolute truth — always verify critical decisions in your DAW.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalKey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed €100 or the equivalent in your local currency.
8. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service, add or remove features, or update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site for at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
